DUDE -hankkeen osallistuja Pauli on jonkin aikaa tehnyt robottia, jonka kanssa voi pelata Neljän suoraa. Pauli on itse tehnyt siihen pelilaudan ja pelimerkit 3-D tulostimella, ja myös ohjelmoinut robottia itse. Kun minä aloitin DUDE -hankkeessa, robotti oli vielä alkutekijöissään. Nyt se on jo edennyt pitkälle. Tänään siis valokuvasin robottia, että siitä saadan vähän dokumentaatiota DUDE:lle. Valokuvaussession lisäksi tein pitkästä aikaa myös työnantoa sille samalle paikalliselle yritykselle kuin viimeksi.

Tällä kertaa se ei kuitenkaan ollut logojen suunnittelua. Luonnostelin ja kirjoitin sisältöä heidän tuleville verkkosivuilleen, jotka kehitetään täällä DUDE:ssa. Kirjoittamani sisältö on vasta luonnos, mutta yrityksen edustaja tulee tänne kampukselle katsomaan työtäni ensi viikolla ja tarpeen mukaan sitten kirjoitusta parannellaan.

DUDE -participant Pauli has been working on a robot project for some time now. You will be able to play the board game Connect 4 with this robot. Pauli has made the Connect 4 board and chips with a 3D printer and has also done most of the programming himself. When I started at DUDE, the robot was still in an early design phase. Since then, it has changed a lot. So today I just photographed the robot to provide some documentation of it for DUDE. In addition to photography, I also once again worked on a task given by that same local company as before.

But this time it wasn't designing logos. I drafted and wrote content for their upcoming website, which is also being developed here at DUDE. The content I wrote is pretty much still an early draft, but a representative of the company is coming to visit the campus sometime next week to check up on my work, and then I can make the necessary improvements for the content. So it will be just a draft until then.
